From high above the town in the Lews Castle Ground, Stornoway's harbour reveals itself in full — the fishing fleet moored along the quay, rows of houses climbing the hillside behind, and the streets threading between them lit up for the evening. As the main town of the Outer Hebrides, this is the heart of island life, and nowhere shows it better than the harbour after dark.
Streetlights burst into starbursts across the frame, their reflections rippling out across the still water below, while the working boats sit quietly at rest until morning. It's Stornoway at its most atmospheric — familiar streets transformed by darkness and light.
